This the third book in a trilogy about medical murderers. The other two books cover Harold Shipman and John Bodkin Adams. Indian-born, Dr Buck Ruxton was a physician who was hanged for the murder of his common law wife Isabelle, and their maid. These murders have been tagged as 'The Jigsaw Murders' because of the state and situation of the bodies, and 'Bodies Under the Bridge' because of where the bodies were found.
David Holding's unique approach focuses on the legal aspects of these murders, and the use of new forensic techniques which were used for victim recognition and eventual proof of the doctor's guilt.
